Samantha asked:

Hi, I describe my issue in my other question about the Gym.

They are refusing cash because I have an automatic draft – and they dont take pre-payment.
So I asked if I could pay cash on the due date. They said no. Is this a violation of Federal Law?

It is a DEBT, correct? It is also a service I am receiving before, while, and after payment so doesnt that violate the law?
BTW, they stated that they dont want to step on their “billing company’s toes”

Contact your state’s attorney general and inform them of the practices on payment of this company see what can be done.

No one and I mean No one can Refuse to
take Legal Tender (Cash) for any Debt…
    at anytime…
If they refuse Cash payment then the Debt
    can be considered as paid…
That is the US Supreme Courts stand…

Yes it is against Federal Law…
