   Saying Pre-paid legal is a scam sounds too harsh to me. They are a decent service for those with a need. If you start a business, you may have lots of questions, and might find them useful.

   As to your question: for a great (and inexpensive) way to do your own will or get basic business legal issues covered, I recommend Nolo Press of Berkeley, California (www.nolo.com). They have been in business for many years devoted to people with relatively straight-forward legal issues who either don’t want or don’t need a lawyer with the cost that goes along with it. They have many options for wills, such as whether you want book. co-rom, or e-book you can download. Nothing is more than $50.

   The forms are free and it offers instructions. This is where I downloaded the forms when I had planned on LLC’ing my consulting business, but I have used there forms and all legal. In fact, they dare anyone to prove the forms are not legally compliant to your state and they’ll pay you $50.00.
