Just got my 2007 Taxes Filed @ H & R Block. I wanted my money ASAP and paid extra Fees by choosing there “ONLY” Option” other than waiting for Uncle Sam’s method USPS in a few weeks. The H & R Block Emerald PrePaid Master Card where told is the only way we get our refund within 1-3 Days!
We where given a sealed envolope containing the card & too call the 1-800 too activate it when got home & to use last 4 SSN when Activating Card. not informing us on hidden extra fee Any Cash Withdraw and limit $3,000.00 per Day w/ additional fee NOT Owned by them(H & R Bank) in which does NOT exsist Locally! I called 800 AGAIN!! Got disconneted =x3 C.S. Reps. that are very sorry (of coarse) transfered to the official Complaint dept. to only get hung up AGAIN!!!!! waited 33 min! I contacted manager @office She didnt know of these Conditions.(Sorry too)
I Also found 2 differant fee amounts in Card Usage & Agreement Contract paperwork. Who do I Report to? Is it Legal?

Another detail too add: Notice the 2 fine print brouchers (1=incl. tax filed & (1=incl. w/debit card envo. Notice the 2 differant amounts allowed ea. day and 2 diffr. Fees this allone is WRONGE!!!

H&R and Hewitt is a scam, I don’t understand why people keep trusting and following as victim. They are completely UNREGULATED and that mean that can do what sub-prime and ARM loan does.
any debit card that is not issued by your bank will cost alot of fees, that’s the catch. That is the reason they make them so easy to get. I’m sorry that this happened to you but you should have read the fine prints.
