pre paid legal

I live in california, on the Central coast. I have been representing myself in a custody matter for 2 years now. I can’t afford to drop 3000 dollars at once, due to child support paying her attorney, court fees and other things. So I’ve been representing myself. Big mistake. I know I can win this case, and it would be in the best interest of my son, but I either seem to will out the wrong forms say the wrong thing, and get stuck spending more money. So I need to get an attorney, but I can’t afford one? So does anyone know of any programs that either 1, help fathers pay for attorneys,2 will hire an attorney and I do a payment plan, 3 or fights for fathers rights. I’ve looked over and over the internet, and I’m getting more and more confused, I’ve tried pre-paid legal, and well its really hasn’t helped. So if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Has anyone tried this. I’ve heard that the results of being a pre-paid legal agent can be pretty lucrative, and my friends are trying to get me to be a part of it. However, I was wondering what the results are if people cancel their memberships. Does that affect my pay? Do I have to pay back the money given to me from the company if that should happen?

Anyone have any good ideas? I am single and a good salesman. I’ve tried many things and failed. This includes: Melaleuca, Watkins, Pre-Paid Legal and dozens of others.
